7/18/07 Article & Video with Josh

An article was published yesterday highlighting the work of a Vietnam Veteran Amputee who volunteers at Walter Reed for the peer visitor program. Josh has spent time talking with Jack Farley throughout his time at Walter Reed and we wanted to share the article & video of the two of them.

July 10, 2007 FORE!!

Josh and some of the other injured Marines from Walter Reed were invited to attend the AT&T National Golf Tournament hosted by Tiger Woods in Bethesda, Maryland last week. Josh went on Thursday and Friday and sounded like he had a great time & was treated very well. They were given a golf cart to ride around and see the tournament. You could see him on the televised coverage when Phil Mickelson hit his out of bounds shot on the 16th hole Friday. He also met and talked with U.S. Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice. Here is a picture we found on the web of the two of them.


With that smirk on his face, you never know what they were talking about, but I'm sure it was fun!!

Josh continues his PT this week, getting back up on his prosthetics. We'll try to get you some pictures of his progress soon.
